The vineyards of Crozes-Hermitage surround the great Hermitage Hill. Sometimes called a “down-sized Hermitage” La Petite Ruche is all freshness and easy enjoyment from younger vines.
APPEARANCE: Pale lemon-gold. Limpid & brilliant.
NOSE: Very floral with green apple, exotic fruits and citrus aromas.
PALATE: The attack is subtle with a lot of freshness. Very aromatic notes of floral and candied fruits.

TERROIR: Soil and subsoil are composed of old alluvial deposits with numerous gravels and shingles
VINIFICATION The whole grapes are pressed. The must is cold- settling for 24 hours to preserve freshness. Temperature of vinification is regulated around 18°C.
Alcohol: 13%
Aging: Fermentation and ageing of this wine take place in vats. The malolactic fermentation is stopped to give freshness to the wine.
Suggested pairings: All fish, poultry, white meats, far eastern dishes and cheeses.
