Another outstanding review is in for Mathilde Chapoutier’s “Grand Ferrage Rosé.” Veteran wine critic Josh Raynolds, writing for Antonio Galloni’s Vinous, gives the wine 90 points, with the following tasting note:
Bright peach skin. Fresh, racy and sharply focused on the nose, displaying blood orange, red currant and strawberry aromas of very good purity. Energetic red fruit and nectarine flavors are enlivened by a citrus pith nuance that builds on the back half. Finishes silky, seamless and quite long, leaving behind juicy pit fruit and tangerine notes.
