The Daily Meal: ‘Winemaker Mathilde Chapoutier is Paving Her Own Way with Rosé’
Mathilde Chapoutier continues to draw notice with her Grand Ferrage Côtes de Provence Rosé. The Daily Meal features Chapoutier in a June 30 piece that begins: “Don’t let Mathilde Chapoutier’s quiet demeanor and youth fool you, this 24-year-old French winemaker is a force to be reckoned with!” Writer Wanda Mann goes on to say:
Mathilde aptly describes her rosé as “simple, elegant, and easy to drink.” A refreshing blend of Grenache (40%), Syrah (34%), Cinsault (10%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), Rolle (3%), and Clairette (3%); this silky & lively wine has nuanced flavors of peach and apricot and a wonderful round texture. What a debut – I can’t wait to see what’s next for Mathilde!
