We were thrilled to read the news that Jeb Dunnuck, founder and auhtor of Rhô, has been named the new Rhône editor for Robert Parker, Jr.’s The Wine Advocate.

Yesterday, in an email to subscribers, the editors wrote:

“First, we want to introduce you to Jeb Dunnuck [above], the newest member to the TWA/eRP team. Jeb was an aerospace engineer who developed his love of wine while working in Europe and touring the wine regions of France. He spent a great deal of time furthering his avid interest particularly in Rhône varietals with frequent trips to France, Washington State and California, eventually creating his own web-based publication called, The Rhône Report. Jeb quickly rose in popularity and within five years garnered readers in more than 24 countries. When he came to Bob’s attention, Bob told me excitedly, “I’ve found a younger version of me writing about the Rhône!” Bob and I are thrilled to have Jeb join the team and know he’ll do an incredible job covering: The Rhône (North and South), Southern France, Washington, and Central & Southern California.”

“We realize it may come as something of a surprise — a shock even — that Bob has passed the Rhône scepter over to Jeb. This speaks volumes for the confidence Bob has in Jeb’s talent and abilities.”

Congratulations, Jeb!
